OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM

Dr. Shelly Cameron is Author, Speaker, founder and managing principal of Cameron Calder & Associates. She is a seasoned business consultant. She specializes in the enhancement of performance management through helping organizations align their strategies, processes and people.

She is especially skilled in the healthcare industry, where she has worked for over 20 years, including 14 years as Head of HR for countries in the Northern Caribbean with leadership in the Latin America region for a major International pharmaceutical company, GlaxoSmithKline. She also spent 6 years as Healthcare leader for a Group of Medical Clinics in South Florida.

Dr. Cameron has worked with clients from an array of industries, helping them raise their capabilities to new levels of effectiveness. She holds Doctorate in Education, major in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, MA in Healthcare Administration from Florida Atlantic University, MSc Human Resource Management, and BA in Management Studies from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Cameron is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Human Resource Association of Broward County (HRABC), Hospitality Human Resource Association of Broward County (HHRABC), and the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW). She is also professionally affiliated with the Institute of Caribbean Studies, Washington DC, and serves as an Adjunct Faculty at Howard Community College in Maryland. 

She is also author of Research and Book on “The Success Strategies of Caribbean American Leaders in the United States”. Study titled "Leadership Challenge" has been published in the Journal of American Academy of Business Cambridge (JAABC), Winter, 2016.

On an individual basis, Dr. Cameron’s mission is to inspire others to discover who they are and to become their best possible self, both professionally and in their life long career endeavors.  

At the community level, through participation in health fairs and more, Dr. Cameron has collaborated with several organizations to contribute to the needy throughout the USA, Caribbean, and Kenya, East Africa. Her mission is to not only make a difference in the healthcare community, but also to the wider society.
